Training
FKS Insurance Services understands that the foundation of any claims organization is determined by the value of its training and education. FKS is dedicated to training resources, requirements for trainers (e.g., adjuster license or other certifications or designations), quality standards, and performance management activities. We provide practical training for the field adjuster and desk examiners. All aspects of the training require passage of testing. This ensures our adjusters leave their training classes with a complete understanding of the material, and allows our instructors to pinpoint areas within the curriculum where adjusters may need additional training and resources.
Our program topics include, but are not limited to: Basic Estimatics, Product Identification, Damage Identification, Claim File Documentation, Basic Plumbing and HVAC, Ladder Safety, Estimate Reconciliation, Litigated Claims, Appraisal Technique, and Fire and Flood Claim Handling.
Training takes place in a variety of forums, depending on the situation. During a catastrophe event, training would be conducted in the field. However, the majority of our training takes place in a classroom setting. And, our licensing training and continuing education modules are available in an on-line format.
FKS also has a Mentoring Program approved through FEMA where we mentor adjusters and insurance carriers with the National Flood Program.
