RESOURCES

Training

FKS Insurance Services understands that the foundation of any claims organization is determined by the value of its training and education.

At FKS Insurance Services, commitment to excellence starts with a strong foundation in training. We maintain a robust Training and Quality Assurance Department that ensures our claims professionals are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and tools to meet client expectations and comply with regulatory and statutory requirements.

Collaborative, Data-Driven Training Approach

Our Training and QA teams work closely with Directors, Claim Managers, and Team Leads to maintain consistent claim handling practices across all clients and carriers. By leveraging data from quality assurance audits, performance metrics, and client feedback, we tailor training programs to address individual and team needs.

Training begins upon onboarding and continues throughout each adjuster’s tenure with us. Using Salesforce as our central platform, we track adjuster performance, licensing, certifications, and training completion to support continuous professional development.

Internal Training Resources

FKS utilizes a blended learning model that includes:

Specialized Training Programs

Our adjusters receive specialized instruction in a broad range of property and casualty topics, including:

Training topics are updated regularly to reflect industry trends, legislative changes, and client
expectations.

Leadership & Oversight

David Soucie, FKS Training Manager, leads a team of dedicated trainers and QA professionals. Supported by Kendall Robnett and additional training staff, the team scales based on event volume and deployment needs. Together, they:

Many members of our training staff hold advanced industry certifications such as CPCU, AIC, IICRC, Xactimate Level 3, and General Contracting Licenses.

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement

FKS trainers work in concert with our two-division Quality Assurance team:

  1. Performance Auditing Division: Conducts scorecard-based claim reviews and collaborates with management on training outcomes.
  2. Field File Review Division: Reviews 100% of open field files and audits a percentage of closed claims to validate file quality before final approval

We also perform internal audits on our QA and training teams to measure instructional effectiveness and ensure internal consistency.

Training Frequency & Expectations

Training begins immediately upon onboarding and is delivered through a combination of live instruction, self-paced learning, and mentorship. The frequency and depth of training vary based on adjuster experience, claim volume, and legislative updates.
Team Leads hold regular performance meetings to review production statistics, compliance reminders, and emerging issues. Adjusters also receive individualized feedback to support continuous skill development.
