Quality Assurance

Expert Field and Desk Adjusting for Commercial Losses

At FKS Insurance Services, quality isn’t just a goal—it’s a commitment embedded into every stage of our claims handling process. Our dedicated Quality Assurance (QA) program ensures all claims are managed in strict accordance with client guidelines, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Data-Driven Quality Controls

Our QA process is rooted in trend analysis and scorecard-based evaluations. We closely monitor metrics such as customer communication, estimating accuracy, timeliness, and file
documentation. These insights enable us to assess team competencies and guide targeted
performance improvements.

Comprehensive Oversight & Expertise

Our QA team is composed of seasoned professionals with extensive backgrounds in claims adjusting, reinspection, training, appraisals, and both carrier and independent firm management. This wealth of experience allows us to implement detailed, client-specific workflows while maintaining consistent quality across all lines of business. Each field claim is reviewed upon submission by either a QA specialist or a member of our management team. Beyond that, FKS employs a formal audit process conducted by our internal Training and Audit Unit to ensure quality assurance is continuous and measurable—not just reactive.

Training-Driven Performance Excellence

Collaboration between the QA department, directors, claim managers, and team leads ensures consistency across all client accounts. Our web-based training programs (webinars, virtual meetings, and teleconferences) keep teams informed on evolving policy updates, carrier-specific procedures, and refreshers on coverage scenarios. These sessions promote engagement through sample scenarios and real-time Q&A.

FKS performs scorecard reviews across all claim types—field, desk, and complex—measuring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as:

Results are reviewed monthly, quarterly, and annually to identify strengths, training needs, and
performance gaps.

Structured Oversight Activities

Our QA and management teams perform additional oversight functions to maintain high standards of service delivery, including:

Targeted Adjuster Development

Performance data collected through our QA processes is used to:
When performance concerns are identified, a structured Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) is implemented. These plans include coaching from our dedicated training team, regular follow-up, and defined benchmarks. Adjusters who fail to meet expectations may be removed from assignments or released from duty.

Specialized QA Tools & Scorecards

FKS uses customized QA scorecards developed by our training department to align directly with carrier claim handling requirements. We maintain three primary QA scorecards—Front-End Desk, Complex Desk, and Field Adjusting—each with tailored criteria such as:

Field-specific audits also include evaluations of FKS file reviewers to ensure end-to-end consistency.

Transparent Communication & Ongoing Feedback

Each adjuster receives a monthly QA assessment with detailed feedback, documenting achievements and identifying areas for growth. These assessments are shared via email and
followed up with direct discussions between QA staff, team leads, and the adjuster. This process ensures learning is continuous, actionable, and aligned with program goals.

Regular team calls and one-on-one coaching sessions further enable adaptability to legislative,
legal, or carrier guideline changes.

Our collaborative communication framework ensures that
FKS stays agile and proactive in an evolving industry landscape.

At FKS Insurance Services, quality assurance is not a checkpoint—it’s a culture. Our structured, data-driven approach ensures every claim is handled with precision, professionalism, and accountability, delivering consistently high standards to both our clients and policyholders.
